Ram introduces 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel at the Detroit Auto Show
The Detroit auto show is one for the masses, the show will deliver regardless of what style of vehicle you are looking for. Truck fanatics can rejoice today as Ram has finally unveiled the highly anticipated 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel.
When examining the exterior of the 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel we see a profound focus on the large black grill that is branded with the Ram logo. The 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel will come with 17’’ alloy wheels giving clearance to drive through most extreme conditions (such as heavy snowfall). With air suspension, drivers should see an industry leading, 10.3 inches off the ground.
The interior of the 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel at the Detroit auto show exhibitions a sleek red trim that contrasts with beautiful black upholstery. The 1500 Rebel will debut a new console box that will have tech minded users covered. It will be able to hold tablets, cellphones, and will do so very snug. No longer will the driver need to buy accessories to hold their phones in their cars.
Internal specs do lack for those looking to speed across sand dunes in Egypt but the Rebel packs enough power to drive in most cities and countryside. Ram will offer drivers customization for the most part through two engine choices. Drivers can choose from a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 or the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8. The Pentastar engine will give drivers 305 horse powers where as the Hemi engine will give drivers 395 horse power. The 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel will only come with automatic 8-speed transition to start with.
Ram has yet to release the price of the 2015 1500 Rebel. Based on the specs and design it should be on the more affordable end of the power wagon spectrum.
Concluding we see that the 2015 1500 Ram Rebel looks to be an affordable yet still powerful truck. With its current internal specs, we are sure that it will be enough to get through most terrains, and carry/pull heavy. Bob Hegbloom CEO of Ram has stated that its 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel will be introduced in the second quarter of 2015.
