2017 Ram 1500 Night Edition Is Darker And Meaner
The new Ram Night Edition will be a beast
Night package is a must for a truck. Really, if it is your daily, please go with it. It is cooler, somehow appropriate for a truck. While Chevy offered its version of blacked out truck, now FCA released the 2017 Ram Sport 1500 Night Package. For the half-ton pickup truck, this thing gives appropriate cosmetics making it Rebel-cool. Well, almost, at least.
What we have here is a package available on the regular cab, quad cab, and crew cab variants. It is a nice addition. While Ram did not disclose its price we know all it brings into play. Mostly black paint to be fair.
Starting at the front, the car received a sports bonnet and special black grill. Furthermore, Rebel borrowed blacked out headlamps giving Ram owners what they needed the most. The sides obviously garnish 20inch wheels. Blacked out wheels shod in P275/60 R20 all-season tires give the most important character line to the Ram – “badassness”. The back also features some black parts. First the letters at the back – black and then the black bezel rear lights. Neat – especially with this fantastic red paint. Apart from red, the 2017 Ram 1500 Night Edition is available in Granite Crystal Metallic, Bright White, Bright Silver Metallic, and Brilliant Black. Brilliant Black with Night Package!? It beats us!
Sure, Mopar offers a number of upgrades for the car. Some of them actually lift the engine power. Night Edition Ram 1500 can be equipped with a cold-air intake, cat-back exhaust system, and air suspension. Consequently, these additions, noticeably lift the power output.
While the Night package is available even with a 3.6-liter V6, the real deal is the 5.7-liter HEMI V8. You know it is.
Amazingly, the interior is largely unchanged. Specialties of Sport trim include bucket seats, power adjustable pedals and automatic dual-zone climate control. Enough!
