The Prior Tuning 2013 Audi R8 PD GT850 Kit.
In a previous article a tuning company called Prior Tuning was profiled, and their amazing Mercedes Benz CL Coupe was looked over. We are back again with another one of Prior Tuning’s fabulous projects.
The Prior Tuning 2013 Audi R8 PD GT850, is a bit of a long name, but if anyone knows one thing, that Audis, and tuning go hand in hand. This new version of the R8 is yet another testament of how that statement works. To begin, the Prior Tuning 2013 Audi R8 has the look of a car that has just rolled out of the gym, after finishing a set of 1000lb leg lifts. The front fascia of the PD GT850 has been slightly widened by the use of Carbon Fiber air inlets, and a lower skirt spoiler.
Once you view the Prior Tuning 2013 Audi R8 from the front you will notice how much wider, and muscular the 
PD GT850 Kit makes this car look. Custom wheel arches were bolstered about ¾ on inch on all four corners, which not only changes the width of the PD GT850, but also the stance of the car. A set of 20” ADV1 Concave wheels trick the eyes to constantly focus, and refocus to make sure it’s really not as wide as you think it is. Finishing off the look of the Prior’s PD GT850 is a bigger than life Carbon Fiber rear wing that is totally, and completely functional as well as visually appealing. The wing is completely adjustable for everyday driving, or some very aggressive driving during a track day.
The Prior Tuning 2013 Audi R8 body kit is only the tip of the custom iceberg, when it comes to tweaking this already awesome car. Prior is also offering engine modifications for the R8 that not only bump up output numbers, improve upon performance as well. For around $10,500 US dollars, the power will be boosted from 420hp, to 475hp, and the torque range will float around 450lb ft. also included in the pricing is, a custom exhaust with a flap system, and then a new flash program was developed for the Audi’s ECU. This PD Gt850 kit is one of a few that Prior Tuning has available for those die hard Audi R8 lovers out there, and it wont be last either.
