The Acura Small NSX. Size Still Matters.

Baby NSX Acura Concept

Acura Baby NSXIn recent news, Acura has decided to bring back a concept idea that was technically gone, and swept under the rug. As a matter of fact the 2015 Acura NSX, had a little brother that almost wasn’t, but now he’s back with a the light of a new day.

The designers at Acura decided to go ahead with the awkwardly named “Small NSX” for potential development, somewhere between the years of 2015 to 2017. So as you can see, we are looking way into the future for this project. The Small NSX as it were, was to receive a naturally aspirated V10 motor, and would have been a Mid-engine mounted RWD set up, but being that we are looking five years into the future, the Small NSX will come standard with Acura’s SH-AWD (Sport-Hybrid-All-Wheel-Drive) system. Allegedly.

As it stands now, all we have to go on is pure speculation and dreams of what could be. So maybe in a few Acura Baby NSX Conceptyears we will have more than a potential $60,000 dollar price tag on a car that doesn’t even exist yet. All I can say is, I hope that the Acura designers come up with a better name than the Small NSX in the next five years. If not we are all in big trouble.

Below you will find a quick video look into the 2015 NSX, from the Global News Channel.
