The 2017 ROUSH Ford Mustang Stage 3 is now available

Fans of American muscle can rejoice, because The 2017 ROUSH Ford Mustang Stage 3 is here!

The 2017 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang is the height of modern muscle. It has the perfect balance of power and handling, of swagger and style. The RS3 is the apex of ROUSH Performance’s racing heritage.

 

The 2017 Stage 3 is a force to reckon with. Similar to the 2015 and 2016 models, The 2017 is built atop the factory Ford Mustang GT. The  5.0L Coyote V8 engine features 670 hp, due to a ROUSH Performance R2300 Eaton TVS supercharger. That’s more horsepower per liter than any other OE American muscle car out there. Ford Performance partnered with ROUSH to design the R2300 supercharger which helps the Mustang achieve an awesome 575 lb-ft of torque. For a skilled driver with a set of racing tires, a ten second quarter mile is on the table.

You can really hear the Stage 3 Mustang’s roar due to the new ROUSH Active Performance exhaust system. This innovative new system gives the driver full control over the vehicle’s volume and tone via mobile app. The stainless steel, quad-tipped exhaust system comes with preset profiles including “Touring”, “Sport”, and “Track” modes. In addition is a “Custom” setting, allowing for infinite sound variations.

The RS3 is available with either a standard single adjustable coil over suspension or the optional ROUSH TrakPak 3-way adjustable coil over suspension. The TrakPak suspension is custom-tuned by professional driver Jack Roush Jr. for an incredible 1.07g skid-pad performance. Also included on the 2017 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang are 20-Inch Quicksilver Wheels and Ultra High Performance Cooper RS3 Tires.

 

 

While so much effort is put into function, ROUSH’s improvements to the 2017 Stage 3 Mustang form are just as impressive. The 2017 Stage 3 sports a new race inspired body kit. Because it uses the same design and manufacturing processes that major automotive manufacturers do, ROUSH’s faschia achieves an original equipment quality look and feel. The new front end kit includes aero pockets, high flow upper grille with “3” badge, front chin splitter, and performance driving lamps. Body color side and hood scoops accent the body. Also, custom stripe or slash graphic packages are available, as well as ROUSH badges for the fenders and hood.

Standout features inside the RS3 are a ROUSH dash emblem, ROUSH designed gauge cluster, custom embroidered floor mats, and available leather seats. In addition, options include Billet Performance pedals, hood strut lift assist, locking lug nuts, and trunk mounted tool kit.

Impressively, The ROUSH Performance R2300 Eaton TVS supercharger is the industry’s only after market supercharger that preserves the factory’s drive train warranty. Though vehicles are designed and tested for reliability and performance, issues may arise down the road. As a result, Roush Performance  provides a three year, 36,000 mile limited warranty. The 2017 Stage 3 is in line with emissions requirements in all 50 states.
