The 2013 Mercedes Line
We look at why these 2013 Mercedes will become more common
Mercedes-Benz has long had a history with the United States. Some of the history was better than others as some history was Americans shooting at Mercedes-Benz’s but today we are behind the wheel instead of trying to kill the person behind the wheel. Mercedes has long since worked to redeem itself from the tarnishes of that era and as a gift they gave us land yachts made of leather and metal that signified that you had made it. We have long seen the S-Class Mercedes be a benchmark for the upper echelon of luxury and because they have done so well with it, the S-class is used as a benchmark for all competing luxury lines. For the rest of Mercedes we will bid adieu to the Maybach ultra liners as they have slowed sales to a halt. So Mercedes is stepping up the smallest of their line as they put das boot to the largest. America will be getting the 2013 Mercedes A-Class and/or 2013 Mercedes B-Class. These cars will be economical and be setup in a 5-door hatch and have the possibility to come with a Bluetec Diesel engine which would make a very economical car.
2013 Mercedes Diesels
It appears that Mercedes wants to get in the market for more diesels and I thank them for that as we can always use more diesels. The Bluetec lineup for Mercedes 2013 is cleaner and quieter than Americans are use too and it will take a bit of PR work to make the hybrid shopper to go Diesel. We are seeing the Bluetec Diesel engines making their way into more of Mercedes lineup so hopefully they can provide one that doesn’t cost $52,000 or more. The word is that we will see a C-Class 2013 Diesel that will deliver nearly 40 Mpg Hwy. This should put the price around $37k. We see that the SUV lineup for Mercedes is getting a reworked Mercedes GLK 2013 model that has Mercedes spouting that it has 1,000 more refinements than the last model but look like 998 of those are LED lights the added to the front of this SUV. The improvements do include a 302 Hp V6 and a 7-speed transmission so the efficiency should be much better. The dash and interior does look beater and more refined and makes this Mercedes a great daily driver.
2013 Mercedes AMG Roadsters
Next we see that AMG is delivering the 2013 SL63 AMG Roadster and SL65 AMG Roadster that deliver boat loads of horse power as the poor man’s V-8 delivers 530 Hp thanks to some twin turbos and the V-12 is also a TT and produces a minuscule 621 Hp. The 2013 SL65 AMG can get from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds making it one fast roadster. These cars look to have several track-day refinements such as shift settings and active suspension so if you actually drive it like you stole it or if you did steal it then you will have a pretty fun ride. There should hopefully be more sweet AMG black editions being developed and hopefully headed this way. Give us your thoughts on the 2013 Mercedes lineup and what you have on your wishlist.
