New sports cars for 2012 lead to some seriously fast rides
There is just something about speed that we just can’t put our foot on except the gas pedal and that’s why we are going to look at new sports cars for 2012. Somehow in an era of global uncertainty on economics and especially oil we have decided to not believe any of that and look for a car that will make us not care anyways because we have the next quarter mile to think about instead. We use to be blown away by a production car that could get from 0 to 60 mph in less than six seconds. Somehow this is just a mediocre statistic for production cars today. Look at the rocket ship that landed on the west coast straight from the rumbling grounds of Japan. The GT-R is a thing of scientific and engineering genius on a simpleton’s budget (as far as supercars go). The GT-R can take you from nil to 60mph in 2.9sec (although most show 3.0 sec) and do it over and over with little help from you. While you’re now screaming down the track how about you turn the wheel, ok this thing can corner like nobody’s business (Couldn’t imagine the beauty of this car on race slicks on a sunny day.)
What else is there for new sports cars for 2012?
We see turbochargers making a comeback due to EU regulations on companies overall fuel efficiency. Wonder why Aston Martin makes a face lifted Toyota bubble car in Europe, there is your answer – Bureaucrats. I love turbo and I love the whine of a supercharger, it shivers me to my tingly parts and I have to think about sobering thoughts till the lust flash passes. BMW is turbo’ing its V8’s to give it the previous V10 specs. Plus with everyone wanting fuel economy and performance together companies like Ford are slaping turbochargers on 6-cylinder trucks..Wait what? Yeah and they are throwing out some impressive numbers. This little 380 horse gem has been foreseen to possibly end up in a special line of SVO Mustang new sports cars for 2012(Please, Please, Please ). Alan Mulally of Ford is already my hero but that would turn me into a giddy school girl.

Acura – is boring these days (and ugly with those fucking Captain America shields they call grills)
BMW- has the “M” series that is impressive all the way from the dwarf 1 series that packs heat
Cadillac – has gone Awesome with the CTS-V series making it a contender – Wow
Chevrolet – Camero ZR or whatever should be neat and that ZR-1 Vette is awesome for Italians
Chrysler- Is suppose to unveil a SRT-8 version that should be a heavy yacht that can cruise
Dodge – Charger and Challenger continue to gain power and we like that.
Eagle – got shot and is now extinct…Ok for several years now
Ford- Shelby Super Snake has more scoops for all those ponies pooping rubber on the tarmac, Ford has come out with some impressive mustangs. (I use to hate this company)
Fiat – Um Abarth SS here yet to mate with a 1M BMW to take over central Europe?
Geo- Metro is unchanged this year…..again?
Honda- Boring – No change as always (use to idolize this company)
Hyundai- Genesis is getting the band back together for this powerful RWD.
Infinity – wants own GT-R which could be amazing or could be sacrilegious.
Jeep- SRT-8 is now a “new sports cars for 2012”competitor because it is taking “roids”
Lexus – LFA made love to me while revving at 8000 rpm’s and then I had to change my PJ’s
Mazda – You know that unorthodox engine that was incredible…we killed it. (Dick’s)
Mitsubishi – Hey that only reason you thought of us….we killed it. (Dick’s)R.I.P. EVO
Nissan – GT-R, 370Z, GT-R, 370Z, Altima is even looking sexy. Great Job
Opel – wish they were in America
Subaru – Oh Subaru your STI makes me blush when I hear that opposed piston engine. (Thanks)
Toyota – Their TRD Tundra is somehow faster than any of their cars. Where the fuck is this joint project with Subaru? Why do I have to wave a gun around to get anyone to acknowledge that you use to make the amazing Supra?
Volkswagen- Is working on something small and hatch fast. Cool I will check into that sometime later.
This should be a little half ass attempt to look at new sports cars for 2012.
