London Witnesses Rare Ferrari LaFerrari Crash

Normally, when a car crashes it isn’t news, but that’s not the case when talking about a rare supercar like the Ferrari LaFerrari. With fewer than 500 of these beautiful speed machines on the roads worldwide, it’s uncommon to see one in action – much less in an accident. While there have been a few other recent accidents in LaFerraris, including in Budapest, Italy, and China, it was in the United Kingdom that the aftermath of such a crash has been captured on video.

Details about the accident have not yet been released to the public, but an onlooker managed to get some footage of the LaFerrari being towed away from the scene. It seems the supercar went off the road of London’s A40 highway, sustaining damage primarily on its left side. Although it isn’t a pretty sight, it isn’t hard to imagine a driver losing control of such a powerful car. After all, the LaFerrari’s 6.3-liter V12 puts out 798 HP by itself, and its electric motor adds enough to total 950 HP!
