GMC 2013 Is A Little Different
GMC 2013 is just a little different
GMC has long been a Chevy behind a different grille. The Silverado and Sierra were built to give customers a choice in style although even that uses to be nothing different. We have seen the two styling cues change a little more at a time. It is still quite clear that they are the same product but is that going to change. Well yes and no, because GMC 2013 uses chassis’s and engines that are also used in several other GM cars but we will start to see some vehicles that should try their best to make a name for themselves without simply being a re-badge job like in years prior. Before 2008 we watched as GM had a hand in everything. They bought the quirky Saturn to turn it into a Pontiac and then from an Oldsmobile that had a Chevrolet heart that were designed for GMC yet didn’t make it past the Focus group. So GM is taking their vehicles and giving them an identity again. For GMC 2013 we might see a few options that can’t be found with any other GM products or at least Chevy 2013 (for now anyways).
GMC 2013 Lineup
The 2013 GMC Sierra looks to get a natural gas option for it HD lineup as Dodge just announced theirs. The Natural Gas setup gives the driver the option as it has twin tanks. If it is like the Ram NG then it will start with gasoline until the engine gets to operating temperature then it will automatically switch to natural gas. The 2013 GMC 2500 HD CNG will probably sell very well in Utah as that “cropduster” gas is very inexpensive in the state as we watched residents buy up all the first Civic CNG’s when they first came out.
The 2014 GMC Sierra is suppose to get a redesign along with the Silverado. Then the Sierra HD 2500 will arrive a little beefier the following year. Word on the street is that 2014 GMC will offer a competitor to the 2013 Ford Raptor. If that is the case then let the off-road airborne competition begin.
2013 GMC Arcadia will get some cosmetic treatment as it gets a little for efficient, possible engine addition as well.
2013 GMC Yukon will possibly be a 2014 model as well and will look to get a more efficient body and power train that will mimic whatever the 2014 GMC Sierra gets.
2013 GMC Granite is a concept shown in 2010 and is the most rounded square box that is coming to the party. It looks to be sharing the Chevy Cruze chassis and will probably share the similar engines. Look for this car-box-wagon-uv-hatchback to sell well with the hip young fresh kids that wear skinny jeans.
2013 GMC Granite Truck – It’s more like an El Camino and I doubt that GMC is going to go through with it because how many skinny jeans kids do you see exerting physical labor.
2013 GMC Wyoming – I made the name up, but yes Chevy looks to bring in the Chevy Colorado as a redesigned truck that focuses more on efficiency so look for a wide mouth GMC grille to possibly get slapped on one.
GMC 2013 Final Thoughts
GMC 2013 is supposed to be professional grade and they will continue to try and get any government contracts. I would like to see more natural gas options for trucks that we can actually afford. It is like the last Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel that had every option in the book on it so nobody bought it because poor people need to save at the dealership and pump you marketing wizards. So let’s hope to see some CNG in the smaller vehicles. GMC 2013
