Fastest Car In The World 2013

We Look At Who Is Fighting For The Top Seat For Fastest Car In The World 2013

There has always been a battle between auto manufacturers to get the top trophy for fastest car in the world.  It is not really something I look for when I am buying my next car but there is the ability for extremely rich folks that can buy anything to know that they can blow the doors off of your Corolla. Although we do not get in these cars too often to break the production speed record, we do however see a trickledown effect of the immense amount of technology, engineering, and aerodynamics that go into building one of these beasts. So think of it this way, you let the engineers go buck wild and charge the very rich for the privilege while that technology trickles into the newer design on the Turbo and aero kit on your next hatchback. I’m not saying that your VW Golf is going to have the W16 Quad-Turbo charged engine that sits in the Veyron (although they already built one)  but I am saying that what these companies learn from high speeds and high RPM’s make its way to getting more power and efficiency out of your daily driver. So thank an Oil Sheik next time you see one as they spent your gas money on pure engineering.

So What Is The Fastest Car In The World 2013

Non-production car record for fastest in the world 2013 still stands a record with Alan Green in his Thrust SSC as it reached 763 MPH or Mach 1.02. So just letting Bugatti knows they have a little further to go.

Production car record for fastest car in the world 2013 is still held by the fake French Germans at Bugatti as they reworked the ultra luxury, sexy Veyron and turned into a newt. The Bugatti Veyron SS was a no nonsense chrome delete car that replaced it with carbon fiber and upped the horse power to 1200. This is a car that has orange wheels and can somehow pull it off and gets to a top speed of 267 MPH. That puts it 7 MPH over our local yokel Venom GT so far.

Did you ever look at a Lotus Elise and say wow what a light car; I wonder what that would be like to drive with a V8 in it? Well deep in the heart of Texas the Hennessey Company took and Elise and took it to a coke party. The Hennessey Venom GT has 1200 horsepower and about half the weight of the Bugatti which means that you have a power to weight ration that is insane. They say 275 mph but it has yet to be proven.

Next In Line For Fastest Car In The World 2013

Yet to be proven leads me to my next point. The SSC Tuatara is supposedly going to be the bee’s knees and it certainly looks the part. With and interior that looks like a modern IKEA interpretation of knight rider and an exterior that looks like a predator drone with its wings clipped. This car is supposedly going to deliver 1350 Hp and hit a top speed of 276 MPH. They are not using a 16 cylinder and four turbos to do so either they are actually using half of that. Yes it will be an eight cylinder twin turbo that will get you where you need to be going very quickly. This will be a mid engine and rear wheel drive to that way you have to engine right behind you that in the event of a wreck the engine will just fly forward and put you out of your misery. So when are the lazy Americans going to test our claims. Well for starters we don’t have the secret VW test track at our disposal. All we have is the salt flats which cause massive drag or the Texas mile which these cars take a little further to get to that speed. So what is your take on the fastest car In the world 2013?
