Fun + Efficiency + Electricity + LSD = Concept Cars 2013
Less Drawing and More Building of Concept Cars 2013
With the many different auto manufacturers vying for you dollars we are seeing an awakening of sorts. We have seen the concept cars of 2013 lineup on its way and the manufacturers are starting to truly understand that there is a market of buyers that want speed, efficiency, looks, and reasonable prices. We now see manufacturers working on many designs and concept cars 2013 that help to bring all these characteristics together. We have seen the all new joint project from Subaru and Toyota for a small coupe that utilizes a front engine and rear wheel drive combination. Though the car is new there are a few pieces that are taken from older designs in both companies. The cars will come out as the 2013 Subaru BR-Z and the 2013 Toyota FR-S (Scion FR-S). These cars take the opposed piston 2.0 liter from Subaru and add new direct injection Toyota cylinder heads and mate it to the transmissions from the Lexus IS. This should be a tuner car that will have a massive aftermarket following do to its global delivers and that, two manufacturers will be selling these on their lots.
Cadillac Concept Cars of 2013
The 2013 Cadillac ATS is to take the place of the weight gaining CTS as like most cars can’t stop growing. Look for the ATS to share a lot of mechanical similarities of the 2013 Buick Regal and 2013 Chevrolet Malibu as we will see an entry level 4 cylinder, turbo 4 cylinder, and 6 cylinder in a range of different options. For 2013 Cadillac ATS-V is a possibility and if so hopefully they can give us something special under the hood although if they do it will probably be an older V-8 although I don’t really have a problem with that either.
Ford Concept Cars of 2013
Ford looks to be making their cars, dare I say it, sexy. With their EVO concept being a hit in terms of styling they have started to shift their global design into an almost Aston Martin type sleek and sexy. One thing is for certain and that is Ford is taking cars and SUV’s like the 2013 Ford Fusion and 2013 Ford Escape and adding a sleeker and more aerodynamic design for this year. The 2013 Ford Escape however looks like a Pontiac Vibe that took steroids with the only problem being that it’s a female. The 2013 Ford Mustang will have a few special editions but what some little birdies are chirping is that a turbo 4-cylinder with an output of 300+ horsepower is coming to the mustang family which will be sure to twist some mullets.
Porsche Concept Cars 2013
Porsche has redesigned the never really redesigned 2013 Porsche 911 and made it look a little sexier. The power output has been upped a little and the wheels have gotten a little bigger but the main change this year is the electric power steering and the problem being is that you are not able to get the feedback like with you now obsolete steering systems which makes a driver’s car seem less drivable?
