Artega Scalo Superelletra Has Four E Motors For Veyron Matching Power
1020hp E-motors fed by a 120 kWh battery provide enough juice for 310 miles and 0-62 mph time in 2.7 seconds
2017 Geneva Motor Show seems to be a Mecca for the niche car manufacturers. This Artega Scalo Superelletra is only one more of a number of awesome niche cars shown there. Yet, the Scalo Superelletra apparently showcases an Artega production car scheduled for 2019.
Honestly, it seems that the German automaker did not exactly update the styling that much. The Scalo Superelletra could use more modern lines. Nevertheless, the styling isn’t exactly what Artega wants to showcase here.
Here’s the deal.
The Scalo Superelletra is an electric car. Featuring two e motors up front and two motors at the back, this German car has 1,020hp of power. That is more than what you’d get from a Bugatti Veyron 16 cylinder engine. Engines fed by a 120 kWh battery apparently provide enough juice for 310 miles. More importantly, the electrons will launch it to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds and to a top speed of 186 mph.
Artega Scalo Superelletra with McLaren F1 inspired interior
With a three seat layout, one seat up front and gullwing doors, this German electric supercar has a bit of a character, wouldn’t you say. The one unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show obviously features cameras instead of rearview mirrors only demonstrating its concept nature. Unfortunately, all of this will cost a lot. Artega Scalo Superelletra price has been estimated at $1.6 million. Well, Artega Scalo Superelletra or the Koenigsegg Agera?
First world problems.
