Sleeker lines and a prettier face for the 2013 Nissan Altima

The 2013 Nissan Altima looks to get more fuel economy and more aerodynamic. If you weren’t a fan of the previous Nissan Altima I can’t blame you as the sedan needed some help in the rhinoplasty department. The Nissan Altima coupe looked good in my opinion but there was nothing about the Altima sedan that beckoned me for a drive. The 2013 Altima is surrounded by a field of competing cars as the mid-size coupe and especially sedan field heats up. With more and more sedans offering impressive fuel economy I am wondering if the Nissan Altima can deliver. We have already seen the decent output from Nissans engines and we have already seen the production use of their CVT transmissions although that might get canned, but I expect to see a MPG estimate in the high 30’s as this car gets unveiled soon.

2013 Nissan Altima Hybrid

The Nissan 2013 Altima Hybrid got axed once before in 2011 and with the lack of sales that it brought I have my doubts that they will re-introduce it. The fact that Nissan is unorthodox makes them a wildcard. So I am unsure of what all they might bring to the table. I have seen that many individuals are looking to the Nissan Altima 2013 to take back some of the customers that Hyundai and Kia are stealing away from the import market. With the 2013 Kia Optima, 2013 Hyundai Sonata and 2013 Hyundai Azera falling in the range of buyers leaves the 2013 Altima no choice but to be stellar.

2013 Nissan Altima Options

This will be updated as we find out more about this new vehicle but I predict that we will see three powertrain options from a fuel efficient 4 cylinder to a beefy 6 cylinder but I am unsure of what is in between. I have my hopes for a turbocharged 4 cylinder that can deliver fun drivability as well as a nice torque curve and MPG’s whenever your foot isn’t mashed when racing that neon civic in the mall parking lot. Either way the looks of the Nissan Altima 2013 are going to look sleeker and hopefully sexier as this car needs it. And for the two door please put the GT-R twin-turbo in it please! We see all the teasers for the which is comical because we already have had the pictures here for a while but since were not motor trendy we don’t get google top ranks for the 2013 Nissan Altima so if you are seeing this than congratulations on finding out what the 2013 Nissan Altima looks like.

I’ve heard that 2013 Nissan Altime will make its debut in this coming April at 2012 New York Auto Show. I saw its teaser on YouTube and I was totally captured by those sexy curves on it. My 2005 Altima 2.5SL was fantastic and I guess its time to give it an upgrade. I am waiting anxiously for April now.

I saw the leaked video on their official video. My wish for this model is for it to have better CVT than the current one. In terms of the exterior, I think it is still looking exactly like the previous one except for the nose. However, I am sure that it’ll give some fierce competition to Camry now.

I thought that it looks like a Maxima at first. I honestly think it is too big. I like the size of my current Altima now. This model looks too big and I am not feeling the curvy lines on the side of the car. I can’t really do my judgments now; maybe I should wait for it to be revealed officially later.

My brother got a 2011 Altima coupe and I am not really impressed by its interior. I hate the interior looks as it looks cheap. The location for the heated seats switches is kinda odd. The power seats are slow too. I hope this one will look and perform better. From the teaser on YouTube it really looks like a baby Maxima.

  If your brother’s Altima coupe interior “looks cheap” it’s because he bought the “cheap” interior. He’s a cheapskate! Now,I have a pearl white 2.5 coupe with factory wine red buttery soft heated leather seats with perforated inserts, complimented by matching red and black door panel insert and black and dark grey everywhere else, accented by faux brushed stainless steel accents on the door handles and stowaway lid. Add to that the Bose display, backup cam, cornering lights, high intensity headlights, fog lights, and instrument panel lit like a Lexus,and my bud with his red leather BMW convertible insists my Altima’s interior is twice as nice at half the price. That CVT often gets me mpg in the mid to high 30s using a light foot. You get what you pay for.

From Hyundai’s new i40 (2013 Sonata) to Ford’s 2013 Fusion to this new Altima from Nissan, similarities abound — from the notched-back C-pillar window to belt lines to front and rear fascias, in general. Competition must be so tough, that — in terms of exterior design — it seems no maker is willing to go too far off the reservation.
