2013 Ford F-150
The 2013 Ford F-150 Raptor And Friends
For most of my life I have disliked Fords because I knew there were several different options that were more reliable and I was right. But when it came to full size trucks it was hard to find a better truck then the Ford F-150. Sure Chevy and Dodge truck owners are already skipping to the comment section to type me a nasty letter but the sales figures don’t lie either. Recently we have seen the foreign manufacturers get into the full size game with some success. First we saw the Nissan Titan enter the field and then followed by the Toyota Tundra and then the Honda Ridgeline thing. With these trucks stealing some sales from the big three, Ford answered back with some engineering. For the 2013 Ford F-150 we are seeing a few refreshes that look to resemble the Ford F-350 headlights and grille and possibly a few changes to assist with MPG’s. Though unclear about the specifics we already see the 2013 Ram 1500 using the near 300 hp Penstar engine mated to an 8-speed transmission that Chrysler is throwing into everything. So we see that the trucks are starting an efficiency battle and they better as the 2013 Ford F-150 Ecoboost looks to stay strong in sales as it delivers great power, torque, towing and 22 Mpg’s that might be as high as 26 mpg’s for 2013.
I Will Adopt A 2013 Ford F-150 Raptor
On the opposite side of things we are seeing another truck that is reshaping the industry and that is the one I am saving my pennies for and that is the 2013 Ford F-150 Raptor. The Ford F-150 Raptor is a truck that is simply more than a truck, it is also an apocalypse exit tool as it supports a Fox suspension that is built for running over multiple carcass speed bumps and marauder road blocks. GM has taken notice of the sexual prowess of the F-150 Raptor and is working on its own version of 2013 GMC HD Off-Road Super Mega Tron Truck. So be ready to watch YouTube videos of Raptor and HD owners seeing who can jump the highest and then crashing and burning.
2013 Ford F-150 Ecoboost and Efficiency
We have seen spy shots of Ford testing their trucks with the new grille but it looks to be a two wheel drive so I suspect that they are working on some efficiency updates for the 2013 reveal. So look for Ford to once again be the leader in innovation as far as American built goes and wait to see what GM can throw down as they release there 2014 Silverado and 2014 Sierra at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. As for me I am busting my butt to save up for a Raptor and investing in oil commodities so that way when oil reaches $150 dollars a barrel I can simply place my profit in the gas tank and meet up with that punk in him Chevy so we can see who can jump the furthest. What is your take on the 2013 Ford F-150 lineup, do you like the way Ford is going about their F-150 lineup or is there something else you would change, let us know and we will post your comments.
