2013 Aston Martin Vantage V12 Roadster
If you too were waiting for the Aston Martin V12 Vantage for about three years now, just like us- well then it is finally here! There has already been plenty of guesswork going on in terms of what the specs are going to be, but there is something not many guessed. The production is going to be limited. Yes sadly enough, there are only going to be 101 units of this beauty to be ever produced. What this means is that it is going to be as rare a sports car as the other Aston Martins super cars around. The Roadster is expected to have the same engine as that of the coupe; however both the exteriors and interiors have been updated to enhance the roadster experience.
The exterior of this limited production beast had to be something that could match the mindset of its potential buyers. For this, Aston Martin has mapped a design that creates an impact, its sophisticated, cheerful and yet retains a sporty outlook. The sporty theme has been carried out all throughout the front and the rear end of the 2023 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster. From the side, it look is catchy, with the red color seats looking good with the white variant (or the red with the black). The redesigned alloy wheels have been redesigned and now present a more aggressive appeal than before. The interior has been pretty much the same as that in the coupe. The seats are spaciously designed in specially fabricated leather and have their own appeal in the eyes.
Let’s now talk about the engine. The 2013 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster V12 has the same engine as that of the coupe, like we mentioned. What this means is that it will be carrying the same 6.0 liter V12 engine capable of producing 510 HP and 420 lb-ft of torque. A six speed manual transmission is the only available option. The 0-60 benchmark will be hit in just a matter of 4.2 seconds with the top speed of 190 mph (sigh! 200 mph would have been cooler!). What’s different from the coupe is the suspension system with both the front and rear ends getting more efficient allowing you to cruise speeding through the roads through all the comfort. The improved spoilers also present a more aerodynamic performance to this Roadster
Let’s now talk about the $$$. The 2012 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster will cost an approximate of $225,000 to $250,000. The reason for this figure only being an approximate is that no official price has been revealed out as of yet and the approximate comes in from the words of a UK based dealer who reports preorders of the Roadster to be based at around £150,000.
When the killer looks are coupled with superb performance, little remains on the cards that can hold out the success of any car. But given the limited edition production and the fat price tag, this one is definitely a price only 101 lucky people are going to be able to afford.
