Performance Special Edition Series Better Have More Power

What I am bitching about is companies that do absolutely nothing to a cars’ innards and just slap some double-sided tape ground effects and an “R” or “S” badge on the car so it can show the world that you are a racer in training.

The 2015 Porsche Pajun

Yet another vehicle that would barrow heavily from an existing VW or Audi platform, we would see a smaller sedan that would compete with 5-Series BMWs and E-Series Mercedes-Benz vehicles. These look to be the prime targets as news of the Pajun is that it will be fitted with a 3.0L shared with Audi A7 that is supercharged and producing 310 bhp.

The Mazda Unorthodox Environmentally Friendly Showroom

It would all be themed with transportation and reusing parts from the industry in mind. This setup would give companies such as Mazda a great opportunity to introduce dealerships that could be shipped and constructed in little time as well as have a small footprint.

The 2013 Scirocco GTS makes lemonade

So in order to commemorate the 30 year anniversary I figured that they would deliver a sporty looking car with a little high revving surprise under the hood that would put the driver in a state of nirvana. Well the VW Scirocco GTS 2013 certainly looks the part of a sportier version.

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG Outruns Creditors

What is great about the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG is the jewel that is encased underneath the hood. AMG has a well built and twin turbocharged 5.5 L V-8 that produces 550 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque.

GearHeads.org Makes Social Media Impact, Delivering a Steady Stream of the Latest Information on Cars

Source: PRWebYahoo News, and San Francisco Chronicle

When GearHeads.org launched in early May 2012, its founders, Chris Riley and Uriah Nazario, committed to offering fresh, edgy new content about cars daily. Now, as the site grows, they’re setting their sights on taking over social media.

With the tagline “Auto News at High Speed,” GearHeads.org is a natural fit with the fast-paced world of social media , from Twitter’s constant scroll of small-bite headlines to Facebook’s thumbnail news links. In a short amount of time, GearHead.org has made an impact on social media, gathering followers and fans of the site’s frank, honest and often funny posts. “It really works well for us,” says co-founder Riley, “Our readers are very connected, and delivering news via networks like Twitter and Google Plus keeps us on the radar when they’re not on the site.” Most of the stories promoted on the social networks come directly from GearHead.org, which covers all types of cars from the US, European and Asian markets.

“We’re not afraid of a little controversy,” says Nazario. “We sometimes have strong opinions, and we welcome reaction to that, whether readers agree or not. But mostly, we try to be fun and informative, and our social networking style reflects that.”

Not just for hard-core car enthusiasts, GearHeads.org is designed for anyone with any level of interest in cars, from casual drivers and folks looking to buy a new car to mechanics and car industry professionals. There’s no edgier source for car information, news, reviews, and rumors. Access is free, and no membership or registration is required.

For more information or media inquiries, contact Chris Riley at chris(at)gearheads(dot)org or (479) 644-8280.

The 2014 Holden Pontiac Chevy Commodore G8 SS-V

GM is looking to set a record on how many times they can reinvent the same vehicle and get spy photographers to keep chasing the cars down in its vagabond attire. I always figured a Firebird would be the phoenix to rise up from the ashes, I mean that’s its name.

The super budget supercars beyond stereotypes

We are going to look at is cars that when you see them driving by you don’t instantly think a prick is behind the wheel but a gear head. For instance, classic cars are always a winner in my book unless of course someone has done a botched job on the restoration. But for current vehicles that are available let’s take a look at some cars that rise above the rest.

The Morgan Aero Supersport

The Morgan Aero Supersport is a knockout in beauty. It has gorgeous lines with large diameter wheels that perfectly fill the wheel wells. The BMW V8 engine produces 367 bhp and 370 lb-ft of torque. 0-62 is only 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 170 mph which is certainly fast enough in this riveted crooner.
